Power Yacht Delivery Sailing Yacht Delivery Services
|
|
Capt Bill Crouch will provide a quote for Captain/Crew fees for yacht delivery. Usually, the cost is about $2-$3 per mile, sailing yachts being more expensive to move than fast power yachts. Captain fees are generally 25%-50% of the overall yacht delivery cost (fuel, provisions, travel, marina fees, etc comprising the rest) so looking for a low-cost provider may be false economy because the captain fees are only a fraction of your total cost for the yacht transport (remember: Capt Bill has never had an insurance claim). More than just a yacht delivery skipper - a professional yacht delivery captain with professional and commercial experience is equally at home on power yachts or sailing yachts. Owners Welcomed! Accompany your yacht delivery - there's no better way to learn your boat, it's capabilities, and it's equipment than to have a trained yachting instructor and professional yacht delivery captain aboard. You will learn: watch standing -weather forecasting-diesel maintenance - emergency procedures -passage making strategies and have one of the best, most memorable times of your life! Capt Bill Crouch is amiable, interesting, and a knowledgeable yacht delivery skipper. But most importantly, in addition to being a skilled yacht delivery captain, he's the best teacher in the industry. You will learn more in a few days than most people do in a lifetime.
